SMS Verification & User Consent
Groupi uses SMS only to verify a user's identity during account registration, login, and account recovery.
How users opt in
The user downloads the Groupi app.
The user enters their mobile phone number.
The user taps Send Code.
Groupi sends a one-time verification code (OTP).
The user enters the code to verify ownership of the phone number.
Users only receive SMS messages after they initiate the verification process.
Groupi does not send marketing or promotional text messages.
